.Net Developer

Rumzer is looking for a talented .Net Developer. This is a fully remote position. You can live and work anywhere in the Americas.

Individuals in this position will collaborate in a team environment to design and build web applications. The individuals in this position will have a critical role in converting business requirements into functional software design and patterns. These individuals will utilize knowledge of .NET and C# technologies to drive projects while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

This is a fully remote position.

JOB DUTIES:

* Deliver innovative web applications using the latest software technologies;

* Work with business partners and outside vendors to collect and confirm project business requirements;

* Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;

* Identify design problems and design technical solutions;

* Conduct system wide requirement analysis and work effort estimations;

* Understand the requirements and ability to develop detailed software designs;

* Utilize best practices and coding standards;

* Participate in peer-reviews and provide feedback;

* Provide accurate and detailed weekly task reports;

* Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance, and document components developed by self and others according to the requirements and detailed design; and

* Work both independently and collaboratively on projects.

Requirements

* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, or a related, field (equivalent foreign degrees accepted).

* Minimum of Two (2) years of experience working with .NET and C# technologies to design and develop sophisticated applications.

* Fluent English.

TOOLS:

* Experience developing .NET applications

* Ideal candidate will have experience in Umbraco and/or NetSuite

DESIRED EXPERIENCE WITH:

* Developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and updating .NET-based applications;

* Utilizing data modeling and database programming skills (such as DB2 and SQL Server);

* Providing requirements for infrastructure and troubleshooting assistance related to infrastructure, such as networks, firewalls, load balancers, and concepts;

* Implementing transaction and management and persistence using standard operating environment (SOE) frameworks (such as Entity Framework);

* Utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum); and

* Working with and utilizing Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks and design patterns.
