We're looking for an outstanding Business Development Director ( BDD)

Joining our highly successful BD Team, you ll have the opportunity to showcase your A Player skills, securing new business to achieve our ambitious 5-year plan for growth.

This is a hybrid based role working mainly from home, visiting prospective clients and spending time in our offices in Essex, London or Leeds.

What You ll Achieve:

  • Your key aim will be to win new multi - year contracts and business opportunities by your ability to network, consult, negotiate and secure new customers.
  • You ll pursue future B2B customer opportunities, and nurture these client relationships to identify where Ground Control offerings can add value and increase our customer portfolio.
  • You'll take ownership for your own success, with the autonomy to initiate and develop, opportunities and relationships for Ground Control.
  • Acting as Brand Ambassador for Ground Control, you ll increase company awareness and drive large, successful sales.
  • At home in the public speaking arena, you ll create and deliver world class presentations to C suite executives to achieve high win rates.

Who we re Seeking:

  • An A player who can demonstrate ,through their career achievements, their ability to open doors, identify and build strong relationships with the decision makers, and turn big ticket opportunities and major deals into successful relationships.
  • An Experienced Senior Business Development Professional who can demonstrate a career of successfully winning multi- year contracts either as an individual contributor or managing a small team.
  • A key player , you'll have an accomplished career history of winning work as a self starter with progression in growing a portfolio of customers and/ or market share.
  • A people person, that enjoys relationship building, with strong EQ to spot the need for a change in approach, resilience to keep engagement high, and speed of thought to pull new solutions into the mix while thinking on your feet.
  • Icing on the cake would be some-one with extensive market knowledge and experience with direct sell to customers.
