Job Title: Bartender
Location: 9 Mill Street Restaurant and Bar Nantwich
Job Type: Parttime/Fulltime
Overview:
9 Mill Street Restaurant and Bar a popular and vibrant establishment in Nantwich is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment. As a Bartender you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our patrons through your exceptional cocktailmaking skills and friendly demeaner.
Responsibilities:
- Mixology: Craft a variety of highquality cocktails ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons taking drink orders and making personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area ensuring all equipment is in working order. Restock supplies as needed.
- Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the current drink menu specials and promotions. Educate customers about different beverage options.
- Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members including servers kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations as well as local alcohol service laws. Monitor and manage alcohol consumption responsibly.
- Customer Engagement: Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for patrons building rapport and encouraging repeat business.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Bartender in a similar establishment would be ideal but not essential as full training is provided.
- Mixology Skills: Strong knowledge of mixology and the ability to create a diverse range of cocktails would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- CustomerFocused: Dedication to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (e.g. kegs cases of alcohol).
