Job Description
A top health company in Plano, TX is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team through Precise Technical Staffing. If you are a Senior Accountant who values a collaborative work environment, this role might be for you!
As a member of an empowered accounting team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including:
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor set up, invoice processing, and weekly check runs for multiple locations
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve account discrepancies
- Build relationships with Facility Office Managers and vendors
- Monitor and improve accounting systems for efficient invoice processing
- Support Accounting team with month-end close and complete special projects as needed
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences
- A degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable in a multi-location environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and automated accounting systems.
