Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Engineerto their Chicago Team!


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze/design municipal stormwater facilities including open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, and green infrastructure
  • Prepare plans/specifications
  • Develop hydrologic/hydraulic models
  • Handle local, state, and federal permitting through permitting agencies
  • Assist with Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans
  • Assist with municipal permit review
  • Visit job site as needed


Requirements:

  • degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred
  • 4+ years of stormwater project design experience
  • PE License preferred
  • Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works or Construction
  • Knowledge of basic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation and hydrology and hydraulics
  • Experience of streambank stabilization design, H&H modeling (SWMM), AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
