Expanding Midwest firm has a critical role fora talented Transportation Project Engineer to fill in their Chicago Office!
Responsibilities:
- Design/delivery of a variety of roadway transportation projects using solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts
- Mentor/train junior engineers
- Deliver multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary team and coordinate/review their tasks
- Work with project manager on project progress, status reports, schedule and budget
- Assist project manager with scope/fees for projects
- Track progress of deliverables, client reviews, technical input and comment resolution
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 5+ years of transportation design experience
- PE License for Illinois with ability to submit for reciprocity
- Design experience with Illinois DOT
- Proficient with CAD/Design Software (MicroStation SS10, GeoPak, ORD) and Microsoft Office Suite
