Consulting firm looking to add a talented Transportation Engineer to their Chicago suburb office!
Responsibilities:
- Work on all phases of transportation projects from project start to finish
- Lead/manage the technical design of transportation projects including roadway geometrics design, utility/drainage design, hydraulic modeling/analysis, maintenance of traffic design, traffic analysis and traffic signal design, public involvement coordination and Phase I/II design tasks for IDOT
- Review design plans for compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Communicate with clients, districts and state agencies
- Involvement in professional organizations to enhance firm visibility
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in designing roadways for municipalities, various Illinois counties and IDOT
- PE License
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel)
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
