Growing Chicago firm is looking to add a Transportation Design Engineer to the team!
Responsibilities:
- Develop construction documents, calculations, exhibits, reports, and other documents required during Phase I/II projects
- Develop/review cost estimates/quantity calculations
- Create/supervise plans/specifications for transportation projects
- Develop earthwork cross sections for Phase I/II projects
- Develop Corridor/3D Terrain Models
- Coordinate team tasks
- Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget
- Clients include IDOT, ISTHA, CDOT and County DOT and other transportation agencies
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- EIT License required
- PE License or ability to obtain within one year of date of hire preferred
- Proficient in Digital deliverables preferred
- Extensive working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Power GEOPAK, ProjectWise, and other related software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
