Responsibilities:
- Provide construction support and participate in PSSR's, commissioning, and
- Become a subject matter expert for a specific technology and develop and maintain corporate guidelines and best
- Support manufacturing sites by troubleshooting process issues based on experience and
- Assure corporate policies, procedures, and standards are
- Maintain technical expertise in codes, recommended practices, and
- Incorporate Process Safety and Risk Management principles into all work
- Provide Process Engineering Support to Projects and Special
- Lead Front-End Loading Activities, including technology evaluation and selection, scope development, and control narrative
- Direct and supervise contracted engineering firms' process engineering discipline to ensure
- Participate in PHA's, develop operating procedures, and provide training to engineers and operator
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years functional experience in production and/or process engineering in the chemical/petrochemical
- Ability to travel as
- Experience in chlor-alkali, brine treatment, caustic processes, and/or vinyl technology
- Experience in PVC technologies and familiarity with process engineering software packages such as Aspen is a
- Proficiency in process engineering principles and
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with SAP or equivalent inventory management
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team
