SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: HOUSTON (WESTCHASE): $115K + BONUS/GREAT BENEFITS

Our Client (or the Company ) is an established and growing US DOWNSTREAM ENERGY Business Unit of a highly regarded, large, international diversified company with the Parent Company located in another country.

- WESTCHASE HQ Our Client currently has 17 team members, 5 of which are in Finance. The Company operates US business from Houston HQ. They enjoy a close-knit, family-friendly corporate culture.

- NEW TEAM MEMBER POSITION IN HQ With continued growth and the addition of a trading desk, the Company needs a hands-on Senior Accountant to act as back office support as noted below in Position Duties.

POSITION DUTIES:

Reporting to the US-based CFO, based in Houston-Westchase HQ, the SENIOR ACCOUNTANT s duties are as follows:

- Preparation of Financial Statements under GAAP/IFRS

- Knowledge of SAP and CXL

- Good knowledge of hedge accounting

- MIS preparations and other financial presentations to the Board of Directors

- Inventory Management

- Handling tax compliances: both Direct Taxes and Motor Fuel Taxes

- Preparation of Business Plans

- Hands-on experience in Financial Modeling

- Financial Statements Analysis and Variance Analysis

- Audit Management

- Other related matters as may be required by the Finance Team

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

- BASE SALARY (ANNUALLY): Up to $115K, commensurate with Qualifications below

- BONUS AWARDS (DISCRETIONARY): 15% Historically; Paid June 15^th of every year

QUALIFICATIONS:

- CPA Preferred

- Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Accounting

- 4 years of minimum relevant work experience

- Oil and refined products supply/trading background

- Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS)

- Hands-on experience of SAP ERP & CXL system

- Experience in preparing and reporting Financial Statements with analysis

- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to perform duties at a high level of accuracy

- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, effective organizational skills, and ability to multi-task

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Understanding of corporate culture, policies and goals, and how to implement them
