About the Role:

TALA has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, we have matured into a DTC eCommerce business with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy across multiple digital channels. At just 4 years old, we re trading on impressive numbers and doing 2X LY. Reporting into the Social Media Strategist for now, you would contribute significantly by keeping the organic social channels performing even better than they already do. You will be part of a powerhouse of creative minds with Mondays and Fridays remote, and Tuesdays through Thursdays at our Vauxhall, London office.

Tasks

Day to day this looks like:

  • Channel Strategy Execution: Own community management and posting schedule on our key social channels - notably Instagram - while developing opportunities for growth (measured on follower growth, engagement growth, reach, and conversions). This requires both a creative eye and a commercial approach.
  • Channel Day-to-day Maintenance: Own the general health of key channels with scheduling, building the grid, post creation, writing copy, posting, community management, and sourcing UGC.
  • Content Creation: You will be required to create content for Instagram, as well as other key channels, meaning a comfort in multiple content settings (behind and in front of the camera). You will have the ideas and know how to execute them to an incredibly high standard.
  • Campaign Strategy Support: Lead on writing shot lists, capturing content, and building roll out plans. You may be required to be on set from time to time, but only according to the needs of the specific shoot as determined by the Social Strategy Manager.
  • Reporting & Analysis: You will be required to report on channel performance on a weekly and apx. quarterly basis, so an understanding of data, and how to visualise and express it, is required.
  • Support: You will provide ad hoc support for the socials team across a wide variety of functions. From socials content, to copywriting, asset editing and more, you will have an opportunity to learn and try your hand at many disciplines, and will be up for whatever comes your way.

Requirements

You should:

  • Have at least 2 years of professional social media experience, having managed a similar account first-hand.
  • Have clear examples of both your contributions to growing a social account, and crafting the aesthetic character of the account.
  • Have experience creating engaging content - we ll want to see examples of what you can do, from ideation to filming to editing.
  • Have experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics to provide insightful analysis into channel performance.
  • Have a passion for sustainability and drive to further ESG initiatives through engaging marketing - demonstrated in a volunteer or professional capacity.
  • Be comfortable working in a start-up environment: working lean and quickly with available resources
  • Be highly organised and an excellent project manager, attentive to detail and commercially minded
  • Have a good understanding of the brand and the customer
  • Be driven, ambitious, solution oriented, and nice to work with
