Title: Sheet Metal Machinist Shift: 1st and 2nd
Type: Full time/direct placement
Description:
- Responsible for setting up machines for jobs according to work orders and engineering
- Follows directions and produces required quantity of
- Works on different types of equipment (CNC press brake, drill press, PEMserter, band saw, shear, etc) to carry out a particular phase of the production
- Must produce parts within required
- Follows work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric
- Responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat
- Maintains simple reports on work orders handled, quantities produced and quality reports
- Ability to follow work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric
Requirements
- High school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
- Two (2) years of satisfactory experience in a related position, five (5) years preferred
- Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, basic trigonometry
- Strong working knowledge with work holding, cutting tools, grinding wheels and shop
