Senior Cognos Developer Position Summary
As a Senior Cognos Engineer, You will have the opportunity to learn the W Energy Software and the business challenges it helps our clients solve. Responsibilities
Create Cognos solutions, design Cognos Reports and Frameworks and provide Cognos Report and Dashboard expertise to Cognos developers.
Gather and analyze business requirements, planning, preparing, implementing, organizing and executing developmental tasks and developing and delivering solutions to production.
Responsible for run time performance and tuning of the queries
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (engineering, computer science, accounting, finance, MIS or related fields)
Strong knowledge in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Tools.
Experienced in FM Dimensional Modeling, Transformer cubes, design and development.
High proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. Must possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
8+ years of experience in Cognos Reporting & Dashboard Development
Working hours:
Working/office hours are Flexible. There will be a minimum of 3 hours overlap with the US Team in evening.
Job Location:
It's work from home currently.
If the candidate is working permanently from home, he/she shall visit the WES Bangalore office once in 3 months for 5 working days. The employee shall bear the expenses of their travel and accommodation. He/she will be notified by the HR department of their assigned phase/return-to-office date.
