Position description:
Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide development and analysis of a Lawson / Infor HRIS system as it is relates to benefits. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the HRIS business processes and how to assist team members in resolving issues with the HRIS systems. The candidate will have excellent knowledge of Infor software, along with full lifecycle software development, which includes requirements definition, analysis, design, coding, HRIS system testing, documentation, and implementation.
Employee will be skilled in use of Infor reporting and be able to generate Ad Hoc reports from HRIS using SQL. Utilizing the HRIS Add in tool, incumbent will export and import HRIS data to help establish automations
Independently makes decisions on quality assurance of the benefit module in HRIS system.
Develops and maintains SQL Queries in order to import, export and validate large volumes of data.
Support all operational activities related to HRIS system / benefit module, including the Affordable Care Act Employer Shared Responsibilities related requirements.
Recommend to management improved operational procedures to maximize business efficiencies
Produces Adhoc reports for all end users including ADOA and all stakeholders
Performs other system related duties as required, other administrative responsibilities as requested and attend meetings.

Knowledge of:
Information systems; HRIS system, Infor products and SQL
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
Affordable Care Act/Employer Shared Responsibility
Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA)
Arizona Revised Statutes and Administrative Code regarding benefits rules
Microsoft Office products, as well as Google, i.e. Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.
Research methodologies, spreadsheet techniques, quality assurance, documenting and databases
Skilled in:
Excellent research and analytical skills
Effective communication (written, visual, and oral expression)
Analysis and interpretation of benefits system-related data, HRIS system related data
Spreadsheet development, utilizing spreadsheets and databases (preferably SQL)
Microsoft Add In
Resolving difficult and complex problems/issues which affect work completion
Ability to:
Express complex analytical findings into a clear, concise and understandable manner in reports and oral presentations
Work independently and as a team player
Plan, organize, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities

Experience Required: 6+ years as a business analyst working with human resources information systems
Experience Preferred: 6+ years as a senior business analyst working with benefits components of a human resources system
Education Required: college degree in a related field
Education Preferred: certifications in SQL, Project Management and Lean Management Systems
