SAP Analytical Cloud Consultant

We re looking for a talented Senior SAP Analytics Cloud Developer who is highly motivated, team oriented, and will

be a key contributor to our Data Analytics team. We are a passionate, service-oriented group of dedicated

transforming, modelling, and delivering SAP analytics and planning solutions that help these businesses and

functions uncover new insights and drive outstanding business results.

The role typically requires experience with SAP SAC, as well as knowledge of BI, analytics and data modelling. Strong

problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are also important.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & Deliverables

Design and develop complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAP SAC

Integrate SAP SAC with other systems, such as SAP ECC or S/4HANA, to access and combine data from multiple

sources

Manage and maintain SAP SAC environment, including security, data modelling, and performance optimization

Effectively partners with our SAP IT analysts and business customers to gather and analyse the analytic

reporting requirements and related KPI s and map those against our SAP and non-SAP data domains.

Configuring and maintaining connections between SAP SAC and SuccessFactors or Salesforce to access and

combine data from these systems

Engage with key stakeholders to provide support, testing, and end user training for reporting and planning

solutions.

Proactively identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Identify incomplete data and data

integration opportunities.

Contributes to the automation, simplification, and overall improvement of analytics and planning processes.

Follow change management processes and procedures in-line with IT controls.

Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting and analytics needs and develop solutions to

meet those needs

Stay up-to-date with new features and functionality of SAP SAC and provide recommendations for future

enhancements.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Strong business acumen and understanding in a business process area (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement,

Manufacturing and Real Estate) and proven track record in leading and developing complex SAP HANA BW/BI

enterprise solutions for global organizations.

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience with executive-level communication.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to all levels of technical and non-technical

owners.

Outstanding customer service skills including working effectively with all levels of the organization to provide

highly effective technical data analysis and solutions.

Ability to support a collaborative atmosphere by proactively soliciting input from others and promoting an

environment where all team members feel comfortable sharing and discussing their ideas and where the

opinions of others are respected.

Deep understanding of SAP HANA Data Modelling techniques and HANA Studio using Attribute View, Analytic

View, and Calculation Views. Modelling experience along with HANA related development languages (SQL

Script, HTML5, JavaScript).

Experience working with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) desired.

EXPERIENCE

6+ years of experience of enabling analytics using SAP technologies (SAP embedded analytics, SAP

BW/BW4Hana, Hana sidecar, SAC, etc.).

3+ years of experience designing, modelling, and developing S/4 Hana Virtual Data Model (VDM) and CDS

views.

Proficient in designing and implementing SAP SAC solutions, including model, stories, and data actions.

Solid understanding of SAP data model and understanding of Finance or Supply chain business processes and

analytics to support those processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively negotiate with other teams to create

a mutually beneficial solution.

Experience working together with functional consultants & business process owners to understand and

document functional requirements and to devise appropriate test scenarios.

EDUCATION

Bachelor s degree Engineering, Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience.
