Job Description

Req ID : 1996547
The statements below reflect the general responsibilities and requirements for the position, but may not describe all the work requirements inherent in the job. It is the responsibility of the employee to comply with Good Laboratory Practices, ISO/IEC 17025 and other state mandated certifications.

Our first laboratory location was in Portland, ME and we are now expanding to Arizona. Nova Analytic Labs is seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to travel to our client sites and securely transport lab samples back to the lab for testing. The testing Nova Analytic Labs performs is critical to the health and safety of recreational, medicinal cannabis and hemp products. Nova Analytic Labs will provide the highest quality and safety in testing to the community by combining advanced technology and innovative scientific methods.

The Sample Steward would be asked to have availability to travel up to 5 days a week. A company vehicle is available, however, some use of their personal vehicle may be required from time to time. As client requests come in for pickups, the steward is notified and must plan their route to make timely and efficient pickups. The Steward will serve as the representative for Nova in many cases, so a professional attitude is a must. Other days the courier will assist the lab in sample intake, disposal and customer service. Some clients will need assistance in METRC and/or our ordering portal, Tagleaf, so some familiarity with these programs or computer software is preferred.
