Revit Engineer

As a Revit Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to utilize the Autodesk Revit software platform to design and develop architectural and engineering projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create accurate and detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation for construction projects. Your role will involve working on both new construction and renovation projects, ensuring adherence to design standards, industry regulations, and client requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting Revit-related issues and optimizing workflows for increased efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Utilize Revit software to create detailed architectural and engineering models, drawings, and documentation.
   
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
   
3. Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards, industry codes, and regulations in all Revit deliverables.
   
4. Develop custom tools and functionalities using Revit APIs to enhance modeling and automation capabilities.
   
5. Integrate Revit with AutoCAD and other software applications to streamline data exchange and workflows.
   
6. Implement automation scripts using AutoCAD Automation APIs to improve productivity and efficiency.
   
7. Utilize Forge APIs for cloud-based collaboration, visualization, and data management within Revit projects.
   
8. Develop and maintain C# and NodeJS applications for Revit customization and integration with external systems.
   
9. Create and consume REST APIs to facilitate data exchange between Revit and other applications.
   
10. Leverage AWS Cloud services, including S3, for data storage, backup, and collaboration in Revit projects.
    
11. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT for secure access to Revit models and data.
    

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
   
2. Proven experience as a Revit Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Revit projects.
   
3. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software, including advanced knowledge of modeling, family creation, and documentation.
   
4. Strong understanding of Revit APIs and the ability to develop custom tools and functionalities.
   
5. Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Automation APIs for data exchange and automation.
   
6. Familiarity with Forge APIs for cloud-based collaboration and data management in Revit projects.
   
7. Proficiency in C# and NodeJS for developing Revit customization and integration solutions.
   
8. Knowledge of REST APIs and their implementation for data exchange between Revit and other systems.
