Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
Full-time, Three 12-hour shifts/week, rotating on-call and weekends
Salary Range: $29.50-$38.72 per hour, plus shift differentials (Evening-$3, Night-$5.25, Weekend-$2.75)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a small critical access facility near Gunnison, Colorado. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide respiratory care to patients of all ages.
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with chronic and acute respiratory illnesses, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
- Evaluate patients respiratory function and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Assist with airway management, including intubation and mechanical ventilation
- Monitor patients response to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory therapy treatments and disease management
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement activities and staff education
Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
- Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Colorado
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- Current certifications in NRP, PALS, BLS, ACLS, STABLE
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
