Job Description

Req ID : 2081829

This is a remote position.

About our Client:

Our client is a fast-paced, collaborative consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC, with a team and clients all over the nation. They lean into one another and base their expertise and logistics on evaluation. With learning and strategy, this requires people to be outgoing, proactive, and communicative. They make data and information meaningful, accessible, and actionable with learning organizations and the communities that they love. They largely work in Philanthropy with Foundations and Nonprofits.

About the position:

Currently, they are looking for a (new or emerging) Research and Evaluation Assistant who will bring their qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods skills with drive and energy to support the firm. As the ideal candidate, you will combine your technical skills with live experience and a commitment to make data and information accessible to priority communities and learning organizations. Along with the technical experience, this position requires reliability, flexibility, and a learning (plus) action posture to be responsive to the firm's evolving project needs. You will do initial research pulls, lit reviews, policy scans, collect, clean and code data, identify major emerging themes, and translate those insights through writing and visualization. Our client applies critical frameworks, approaches, and methodologies to integrate equitable, liberatory, and/or transformational principles into all phases of their work. You will examine our and clients backgrounds, beliefs, and biases to support the development of designs and protocols. In this remote, full-time, US-based position, you will thrive independently and with a team. You will have a flexible approach to challenges in a fast-paced, creative, remote virtual environment.
