This growing company is focused on chemical and oil & gas refining / drilling / services industries.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily communication with Commercial trading personnel, Economics and Planning teams, and external vendors including transporters, inspection companies, vessel agents, and customs brokers
- Ensure compliance with internal Risk, Compliance, and Accounting requirements
- Coordinate the movement of feedstocks/products such as animal fats, plant oils, soybean, and canola oil to meet contractual obligations with external counterparts and internal production/consumption requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or a related discipline
- At least five (5) years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or scheduling with commodity products, preferably in the Energy or Ag industry
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with deal capture trading systems, with RightAngle experience preferred.
- A comprehensive understanding of Energy/Ag markets and economics
- Experience in a trading environment and interacting with internal and external counterparts
