Duties include arranging cruises, transportation, accommodations, and entertainment for business and individual travelers. Coordinators may also specialize by type by destination. They will also promote travel packages on behalf of cruise lines, resorts, and specialty travel groups.


Requirements

The Opportunity:
  • Research and plan various vacation packages for your clients
  • Create vacation quotes, Itineraries, and Invoices -Attend trainings
  • Clear communication with clients
  • Book various travel including hotels, cruises, resorts, travel insurance, flights, rental cars, excursions, etc.
  • Research, Create, and Execute exceptional itineraries for clients
  • Review individuals needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can cater a trip specially designed to meet their needs
  • Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel
  • Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations
  • Review budgets, and plan trips according to clients budget constraints
  • Create promotional materials to utilize
  • Monitor restrictions on travel that come and go
  • Effectively communicate with clients pre/post travel
  • Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel for clients
  • Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can offer to clients

Roles & Responsibilities: Arrange Travel for businesses, sports teams, vacations, Weddings and more Determine customer's needs and preferences, such as schedules, costs and payment plans Plan and arrange tour packages, excursions, and day trips Book reservations for travel, hotel, flights, rental cars, special events, honeymoons Provide proper documentation to the clients such as, authorization forms, flights tickets, theme park tickets Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip.
