• Directs all the key functions in own area by following up and supporting implementation where needed and monitoring results to ensure correct implementation of the strategy.
• Leads his team, sets their targets & develops sales forecasts for the area by allocating objectives and directing the sales operations to ensure achievement of sales & distribution targets based on sound forecasts.
• Reviews reports from supervisors. In the event of deviation from policy, take corrective action by stopping sales rep from selling, carrying out a trade audit & conducting trade visits to ensure correct usage, accuracy & reliability of reports.
• Schedules & reschedules the route planning & journey cycles by visiting the market to check and maintain a high level of execution of the coverage plan.
• Monitors the prices in the market on a regular basis by collecting market price reports, reporting back to Sales Manager on prices, and manages adherence to the price list by the sales force to stabilize the company prices in the market, maintain customer satisfaction & achieve competitive prices.
• Ensures the company credit policy is implemented to standard by receiving & following up on credit reports on a timely & consistent basis to enhance cash flow.
