Drive and manage Internal and external stakeholder to ensure effective operation efficiencies to support business growth and development.
Highlight and share best practices within the team to ensure consistency and continuity in operational excellence approach
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity within the team
Responsible to assisting in managing the key performance indicators/operation excellence drivers per the above-mentioned tasks (execution plan, utilization management, knowledge management and communications). Ensure account management team actively engage assigned customers in business + performance reviews
Problem Solving: Identify opportunities to improve the operations, proactively reinforce and iterate on our processes and create standardized business processes that result in an increase of performance and provide negotiation of difficult matters to drive outcomes
Responsible for analysing, mapping and documenting the current and future requirements and processes, as part of a defined standardization framework and alignment across the region
Well verse with overall APAC market updates and call out to customer with mitigation plan
Ad hoc duties as required
Skillset Requirements
1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup), Teams, Word, Powerpoint
2. Able to learn new systems and software quickly
3. Experience in at least one aspect of freight forwarding Operations. Export or Import, Preferable if experienced in both
4. Detail oriented and able to manage their own schedule well.
5. Has good time management
6. Strong team player
7. Responsible and able to work remotely to deliver key tasks completed on time
8. Good interpersonal skills
9. Good command of Written and Spoken English for handling English speaking people. Proficiency in other languages is a bonus
Experience and Qualifications
1. Graduated from college or university with majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, International Business or related majors
2. 2 years minimum experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry
