Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Quality Manager for a
Texas-based leading wholesale packaging distributor. This company is a

RESPONSIBILITIES

- The Quality Leader will report to the General Manager and will
establish and maintain a QMS (Quality Management System) along with
getting company prepared for certain certifications.

- Lead and conduct audits to get those certifications.

- Establish and maintain SQF Food Packaging Manufacturing standards
according to govern regulations.

- Inspecting inbound shipments (corrugated) for sizing, print, board
grade, packaging, etc.

- Leading the charge on any product deficiencies.

- Become point of contact for customers who require quality responses.

- Achieve quality objectives and optimizing efficiency and resources.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement / process improvement and
ensure employee engagement and development.

- Attain SQF Food Packaging Manufacturing standards according to
federal regulations and safety standards.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive
actions.

- Optimize efficiencies and drive efforts to reduce waste and
downtime.

- Make sure activities comply with the standards, regulations, and
procedures once established.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor s degree in business or related field

- 5 years of experience in quality management (packaging experience
preferred)

- Capacity to work independently.

- Client focused mentality with strong interpersonal skills
(innovative, resourceful sense of initiative, able to make
decisions)

- Excellent leadership and management skills
