Job Description

Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Project Railroad/Bridge Engineer to join their Lincoln, Nebraska team!


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technical design and support for railroad bridge and supporting structure projects
  • Oversee staff and workload
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Perform research and write technical reports
  • Travel to job sites as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in structural or civil engineering
  • Master s degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience working on Class I Railroad structure projects
  • PE License
  • Experience managing railroad projects/clients
  • Experience coordinating with other railroad engineering disciplines
  • Ability to leverage software for modeling, calculation, automation and rapid drafting
  • Experience in MicroStation, Risa 3D analysis, and Bluebeam Revu preferred


Salary is commensurate with experience.
