Job Brief

We are currently hiring a Pricing Manager who will be responsible for the implementation of strategic, tactical, and operational pricing initiatives.

Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors

Main Responsibilities of a Pricing Manager:

Lead and direct pricing strategy formulationthat enhance profitabilityand take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.

Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs

Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

Assist in creating promotional campaigns

Assist with pricing negotiations of customers proposals.

Prepare clearly BAFO (Best and Final Offers).

Conduct oral presentations, field research and cost revisions. This also requires thinking about the going rates for similar products in the industry, in order to remain competitive.

Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.

Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.

Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements and stimulate implementation or maintenance of pricing system.

Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.

Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution etc.

Perform partnering with buyers, product managers and sales department to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market.

Analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer



Requirements

A degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating a pricing process documentation.

Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail
