Smarter HR Solutions is looking to hire a hard-working individual for a Porter position in a Hospital Caf setting. This job requires someone who is a self-starter and is motivated. Please note that this position requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination as well as vaccination records including:

MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)

Varicella (Chicken Pox)

Hepatitis-B

Flu

Covid-19 Vaccine (Both 1st and 2nd Dose)

a Negative TB Skin test (within 30 days or agree to take)

SCHEDULE FOR PORTER:

Monday-Wednesday - 12:00pm to 8:30pm

Friday - 5:30am to 2:00pm

Saturday-Sunday - 6:00am to 6:30pm (every other weekend off & Thursdays off)

TYPICAL DUTIES THAT MAY BE PERFORMED as a PORTER:

1. Maintain cleanliness of Caf work prep areas

2. Assist with washing all food prep pots, pans, and utensils

4. Operate dishwashing machine for cleaning food dishes

5. Perform heavy cleaning with assigned equipment

6. Keep floors clean (Mop/Sweep)

7. Empty, clean, sanitize and deodorize trash containers

8. Assist with loading and unloading of food delivery truck

9. Attend all required in-service training sessions as needed

10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed to assure consistent quality services.

11. In compliance with Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, only those employees who have been deemed "qualified" may use his or her second language to perform his or her job duties, as described in this job description.

Valid Food Handler Certificate

Work Experience

1+ Year of Food or Hospitality Service Experience

1+ Year of Cleaning/Porter Experience
