We are currently looking for Plant Controller to join our great team.
The Plant Controllerplans and directs accounting activities of the Plant by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Monitors plant operations to ensure compliance with accounting best practices and GAAP requirements.
Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L consolidations and financial reporting consistent with GAAP and Company policy.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month end close.
Coordinate with corporate team in developing annual budget and quarterly forecast.
Prepare/review CAPEX request form by collecting information and provide pay-back analysis
Participate in physical inventories and/or monitor cycle count program.
Identify and pursue opportunities for optimizing working capital, provide accurate cash forecasts.
Ensure bank and balance sheet reconciliations are completed timely.
Develop site-level finance and accounting teams professionally to meet business need.
Ensure proper internal control and segregation of duties within the plant.
Identify cost saving opportunities, follow through to ensure saving is realized.
Compile ad hoc analysis/reports requested by upper management.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
This is an onsite position --- no work from home is offered.
Sound understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to produce accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels in the organization.
Be a business partner, actively involved in the operation of the plant.
Sound understanding of manufacturing finance best practice.
Be an agent for continuous improvement.
Strong Microsoft Office skills- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS
Experience using an ERP system, Aptean/Intuitive and Epicor is a plus
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor s degree of accounting
Minimum Experience Requirements:
2 years as Plant Controller or Assistant Controller in a Manufacturing Company, preferably in standard costing environment.
