Tasman is looking for motivated and engaged site superintendents for projects stationed throughout the We are looking for professionals to be headquartered out of our San Marcos, TX Candidates should be interested in travel, people who can lead, work as a team, can manage personnel, and subcontractors to ensure their compliance with plans, schedule, and safety
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource
Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project
Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and
Create schedules for workers and
Maintain a daily log for the job site s operations, reporting to management as
Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds Tasman safety
Review daily progress of work completed and deliver daily reports to the project
Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Out of state travel
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years ground-up experience as Superintendent on Multifamily Construction Projects
Must be able to pass background checks for US military base
High school diploma required; college degree
Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active
Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and
Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance
In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction
Great problem-solving and decision-making
Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal setting and conflict
Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and
Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and be effective at building collaborative
Ability to engage professionally with clients, subcontractors, and skilled
Strong knowledge in means and methods of construction, reading plans, planning, and scheduling
Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge base of building components including foundation and structural systems, exteriors wall systems, interior finishes, and
