Title: Mechanical Designer
Location: GTA/Toronto
Our client, a highly respected Engineering Consulting Firm, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating mechanical building services designs, producing drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- 3-8 years of experience in mechanical building services design
- Advanced knowledge and working experience with Autodesk, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of basic building systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality mechanical building services designs using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Apply knowledge of basic building systems to the design process
- Contribute to the development of project proposals and feasibility studies.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry standards and technology advancements

Bachelor s degree in a technical, business or related field Strong knowledge of Building Codes, CAN/ULC-S524 and CAN/ULC-S537 required 5+ years fire protection, construction, alarm/detection, or related project management experience Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and able to multi-task Leadership skills able to establish direction, align people, motivate and inspire Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications Excellent communication skills, oral and written Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and decision making skills Must be a team player with a strong work ethic Willingness to work a flexible schedule
