Magento2 Frontend Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design and backend development teams to understand project requirements and translate them into frontend solutions.
  

• Develop custom themes, templates, and layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and responsive web pages.
  

• Customize and extend Magentos frontend components, such as blocks, templates, and widgets, to meet project specifications.
  

• Integrate and configure third-party extensions or modules to enhance the functionality of Magento 2 stores.
  

• Optimize frontend performance by minimizing load times, reducing HTTP requests, and optimizing code and assets.
  

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality frontend deliverables.
  

• Collaborate with the QA team to address any frontend-related issues or bugs.
  

• Stay updated with the latest Magento 2 frontend development practices, tools, and technologies.
  

• Provide guidance and support to junior frontend developers, if applicable.
  

Requirements

Total Experience:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of overall web development experience.
  

• 3 years of experience working specifically with Magento 2 frontend development.
  
• Experience in implementing custom designs and themes for Magento 2 stores.
  
• Experience in optimizing frontend performance for Magento 2 websites.
  

• Programming Language: Proficiency in PHP.
  
• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
  
• eCommerce Platform: Magento 2.
  
• Mandatory Skills: Magento 2 frontend development, theme development, module integration, Magentos templating system, cross-browser compatibility, responsive web design.
  
• Optional Skills: Frontend frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation), Sass/Less, Gulp/Grunt, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).- Certification: Magento 2 Frontend Developer Certification (optional).
