Lead NET Engineer

What you will do

• Apply your technical, communication, and leadership skills to running highly-performant software development teams
  

• Own projects delivered by one or more teams while establishing cross-functional collaboration between experts
  

• Determine and introduce optimal processes in accordance with business goals, risks, and best practices
  

• Estimate complex projects, mentor teammates and proactively help teams succeed
  

• Suggest the prioritization of business targets while recognizing and communicating the pros and cons of your decisions
  

Must haves

• Bachelor s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Systems; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  

• 8 years of leading the technical aspects of a development team, using Agile methodologies.
  

• 8 years of hands-on software development experience, using .NET, C#, SQL and Javascript/Typescript.
  

• 8 years of design experience, using object-oriented software techniques and Entity-Relationship data modelling techniques.
  

• 8 years of experience working with web applications and web services, including RESTful techniques.
  

• Experience using unit testing frameworks, such as MSUnit or NUnit.
  

• Experience using cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure.
  

• Ability to guide others in resolving complex issues of significance to the organization.
  

• Exceptional organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.
  

• Strong analytical skills.
  

• Comfort with multi-tasking and organizing a variety of concurrent tasks, by applying strong organizational and time management skills.
  

• Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC s hybrid work environment.

About our projects

A provider of industrial AR solutions to Coca-Cola, Rolls Royce, and Boeing leverages our full-stack development expertise to build a feature-rich workflow designer application. Our contributions to the web UI and backend of this application include a responsive dashboard with real-time messaging, support for calls, multiple authentication options, and more.

A client lifecycle management platform used by top-100 RegTech companies is our other project that revolves around .Net. We ve helped migrate the platform from a monolithic architecture to microservices, implemented FATCA/CRS reporting, and significantly expanded its functionality.
