We seek an enthusiastic and proactive professional Legal Assistant to join our Labor & Employment Group.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all aspects of case management and draft document, heavy document editing, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents.
- Work with EEOC and DOL, in addition to e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Maintain attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and conferences, and entered billable time.
- Update electronic records, upload documents, and run reports.
- Maintain and organize case files, organize paper and electronic documents for use in depositions or trials.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience.
- Labor and employment and litigation experience are strongly preferred.
- Exceptional technical skills required, including knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe Professional, and electronic document management.
- The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
- Must be detailed oriented. Excellent grammar and spelling skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential
