Junior Installation Technician

• Assisting with the installation and setup of new systems and equipment.
  
• Providing training and support to users of the systems installed, including answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on how to use the systems.
  
• Maintaining and updating documentation for systems and equipment, such as user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and installation instructions.
  
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure that everyone is informed about the status of installations, issues, and progress on projects.
  
• Following safety protocols and procedures when working with equipment and systems.
  
• Adhering to industry standards and best practices when working with systems and equipment.
  
• Attending the site surveys and providing accurate, detailed, and complete site survey reports.
  
• Attend all on-site installation, configurations, setup and training of all relevant systems, hardware, services and testing the system to ensure proper documentation of all related processes.
  
• Closure of all installations and submission of accurate and complete job cards.
  
• Responsible for following all company policies and procedures as well as ensuring all company owned property and equipment is maintained and kept in working order and is always kept safe.
  

Requirements

• 1- 2 years of experience in networking installation and configurations.
  
• Must be able to work independently and not have to be micromanaged.
  
• Must reside in Johannesburg (Westrand, South or North of JHB no candidates from the East Rand will be considered)
  
• Must have matric certificate.
  
• Must have a smart phone.
  
• Valid driver s license.
  

• Able to Lift and carry heavy equipment.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  
• Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  
• Climbing ladders and working at heights.
  
• Working in confined spaces.

• Salary Range: R 8 000.00 R 12 000.00 based on experience and certifications
