Insurance Verification Representative

INSURANCE VERIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Directly Calling Insurance Companies to obtain Insurance Benefits
  
• Handling financial obligations prior to procedures
  
• Coordinating self-pay referrals to the eligibility service
  
• Appropriately documenting and reporting payment information
  
• Communicating with patients regarding insurance benefits, payment plans and expectations
  
• Working with Upper Management and Administration Staff for approvals
  
• Must be able to multi-task in fast pace environment
  
• Will be working with multiple programs at one time
  

Key qualifications to be considered for this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• One year of customer service or office experience required
  
• At least two years of registration/insurance verification experience in an acute care hospital or clinic preferred
