Requirements:
Active license in AZ
Licensure in area of specialty (i.e. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW) - Preferred
Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling
Requires a minimum of one-three (1-3) years experience working with a psychiatric
behavioral health population, preferably in an inpatient setting. Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge
planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family
therapy theory and practice. Must have strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/ CPR certification and current behavioral and verbal deescalation training, per facility protocol, must be completed prior to beginning work. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management, crisis intervention, and group and individual psychotherapy
