Human Resources Generalist

Pay: $25-$27hr.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-5:30PM

Job Type: Temp-Hire

Location: Catoosa,Oklahoma

Job Description:

Provides support for all Human Resources related activities.by performing the following duties.

Handles all aspects of FMLA reporting, recording and employee communication. Responsible for recruiting. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs. Assist with payroll processing. Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies. Administer Training & Development. Assist in developing and maintaining talent management processes. Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies. Maintain employee personnel records. Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary. Monitors unemployment claims and assists affected departments with appeals, as necessary. Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, including staffing from temporary agencies. Creates and places advertisements with various media outlets. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and the services provided. Stays current on recent federal, state and case law changes and monitors labor law updates and newsletters for changes that affect Human Resources. Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook (electronic mail), Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheet, graphics, etc.) is required. Good working knowledge of Employment Law preferred. Require Associate Degree in HR with 3-5 year’s work experience in Human Resources.
