Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. This position shall carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, policy implementation, employee engagement, and employment law compliance, global mobility.
Essential Functions
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Performs benefits administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment, communicating benefits information to employees, and heading the open enrollment process.
Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including but not limited to safety, security awareness, harassment prevention.
Performs employee relations counseling, disputes, investigations, disciplinary notices, performance management, and exit interviews.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Ensures accuracy of human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technology.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
Helps in global mobility initiatives
Constantly innovates and executes tactical plans for talent management to make the organization a preferred employer
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience
A bachelors degree in business administration with concentration in Human Resources Management
Minimum five years of human resources work experience
Professional certification preferred - SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential; Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong anaylytical and problem solving skills

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficiency with MS Office, HRIS, and other HR related benefits administration or talent management systems
Solid Global & Cultural awareness
