Our client is a leading company in chemical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Administer AAP (Affirmative Action Plan) with external consultant and onsite staff.
- Manage department KPIs with regular data collection and reporting.
- Supports the Onsite HR Manager and business partners to align with the organization's Vision and Values.
- Partner with Recruiting for candidate offer process, pre-employment screening, and onboarding.
- Receive training and provide backup support for payroll processing.
- Manage internal transfers, promotions, and off-boarding process.
- Administer Tuition Reimbursement Program and provide documentation for unemployment claims.
- Coordinate employee events (e.g. recognition, safety days, benefit fairs).
- Maintain HR department Operations Manual and track policy/procedure updates.
- Liaison with Communications team for site-wide HR communications.
- Maintain HR Project Plan and calendar, and Job Description Library.
- Coordinate employee relation process (concerns, interviews, fact finding, reporting).
- Other special projects and daily tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Professional HR Certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of industry experience, chemical industry a plus but not required.
- Experience with payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees.
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, communication tools, and HR software.
- Current knowledge of HR laws and regulations for the state of Texas.
