Full-Time Sign Language Interpreter Needed ASAP!

Are you a highly skilled sign language interpreter with a passion for helping others? If so, we want to hear from you! Our company is seeking a full-time sign language interpreter who has a 3.5 or greater EIPA score to service 1 elementary school kiddo.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) or other forms of signed communication.
  
• Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing individuals in a variety of settings, including but not limited to medical appointments, business meetings, and educational settings.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  
• Adapt interpreting style to meet the needs of each individual client.
  
• Provide cultural mediation and education as necessary.
  

Requirements

• 3.5 or greater score on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA).
  
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiar with other forms of signed communication.
  
• Experience interpreting in a school setting preferred
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
  
• Must be able to work full-time
