We are recruiting for a General Manager for a operator in the health and fitness industry that takes pride in helping members achieve their goals, delivering and excellent level of service all in a fun and empowering environment.

This is a General Manager role where you can build your dream team in a new club around you, so a strong commercial background is essential. Using the companies framework your job is to create a home away form home for the members, a place of help and inspiration while staying true to yourself and what you are passionate about.

What does the role entail?

• Assigning and managing rota & timetables with a view to growth and expansion.
• Working on pre and post opening membership sales to reach targets.
• Manage/train a team to develop a consistent level of service.
• Excellent attention to detail while maintaining your friendly and approachable personality
• Ambitious and driven towards reaching sales and pre-sales targets.

What are we looking for?

Overall we are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who wants to help grow the business and team. Here are some further specifics.

• Experience in health and fitness general management.
• Level 2 Gym instructor minimum (Ideally Level 3 Personal Trainer)
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Someone who loves working in a team and confident with their leaderships skills
• Strong communicator as you will be working closely with the franchise owners
• Passionate about helping members go on their own fitness journey and building a strong community around that
