Position Overview
The Business Development Financial Analyst will analyze customer business operations and electrical usage in an effort to determine solar project viability. The Financial Analyst will be a part of the business development team and will be on track to develop into a business development associate.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer bill analysis for customization of solar arrays.
- Creating design layouts for preliminary proposals.
- Creating project budgets, in cooperation with other disciplines, to assess project viability.
- Coordinating with various internal departments to create proposals for clients.
- Creation and curation of prospecting lists.
- Setting appointments for business development team members.
- Creation and curation of email campaigns.
- Continue education to increase industry knowledge.
- Analyzing customer operations and strategies to identify new opportunities.
- Adding value to product offerings to increase sales.
- Writing proposals and liaising with other departments to align strategies.
- Analyzing consumer behavior to meet product demand and preferences.
- Performing competitor analysis toward an increased market share.
- Implementing efficient customer communication and feedback channels.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Motivated, self-starter who is able to multi-task and sustain focus.
- Some sales experience is desired, but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor s degree in business development, finance, marketing, or similar is encouraged but not required.
- Previous experience as a business development analyst in a related industry.
- Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, such as Hubspot
- Advanced knowledge of business development and sales strategies.
- Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in extensive data analysis.
- Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
- Proven ability to increase competitiveness and market share.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations.
- Competency in researching sales leads, and presenting proposals.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
