• Install and service Fire Alarm systems according to system specifications, protocols, code, and industry standards
  
• Perform troubleshooting and repair functions for commercial fire systems which may include programming, troubleshooting ground faults, troubleshooting SLC and NAC devices
  
• Perform annual inspections
  
• Maintains accurate records of all inspections/service calls and troubleshooting as required. Provides accurate, detailed, and timely paperwork and reports to management. Completes as-builds. Uses company CRM programs for submitting service tickets or researching customer information
  
• Lead other Technicians
  
• Assist other departments on installs
  

Requirements

WHAT SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE DO YOU NEED?

• Working knowledge of construction principles
  
• Reading, following, and applying logical information from schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, instruction manuals, operator guides, work orders, SOP s and safety rules
  
• Communicate effectively with customers and educate them on newly installed equipment as well as job status completion (service or installation)
  
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  
• Must be able to communicate effectively
  
• Basic computer skills using a laptop with ability to check e-mails using Gmail and effectively manage timecards using T-Sheets
  
• Ability to submit daily time & notes using companies ticketing system - Must know how to use a cell phone including making calls, sending texts, using apps and taking photos.

• Must be willing to work in various weather conditions (Working environment may be subject to high or low temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, heights, standing, bending, and crawling)
  
• Ability to work Monday Friday 8:00AM 6:00PM (typical days are 8 hours but start and stop times may change based on project/call). Saturday and evening work is rare but may be needed occasionally.
