Job Summary:
Provides culinary leadership within a large sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Key Requirements:
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food costs & labor management.
- Manages food & physical safety programs.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
Required:
- 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- 3 years of Management Experience.
- Catering and fine dining experience
- Knowledge of higher end vegetarian cuisine
- Previous experience working in a high-volume facility
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
Preferred:
High expectations for customer service and quality of food.
Ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees.
Passion for food and innovation.
Knowledge of special diets and allergens and knowledge of DRIVE

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $69,000 to $79,000. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Employees may be eligible to participate in company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal, and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
