JOB SUMMARY
- We are looking for an Epic Cogito Certified Report Writer togather report requirements, report development, internal validation, end-user validation/sign-off, and post go-live support for Safety Net hospital This is for someone strong with Cogito Tools - RW, Radar, SlicerDicer, and experience on the Patient Access or Revenue Cycle Responsibilities will include:
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders
- Developing Reports to specified criteria
- Validating Reports against provided sample/dataset
- Identify and recommend the appropriate technological solutions for given reporting requirements
- Responsible for reviewing upgrade documentation related to utilized features and implementing changes
- Accountable for providing status of their deliverables and raise any issues, risks, decision points to the Lead Report Writer
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have 4+ years of experience with:
- Epic Patient Access and/or Rev Cycle experience
- Epic Cogito Tools experience (RW, Radar, SlicerDicer)
- Heavy SQL
- Lots of custom development
- Need to be able to manage own projects with an Agile methodology and work with end users to refine the
Advanced to Expert knowledge:
- T-SQL
- Visualization tools like PowerBI
- Revenue Cycle Data Models
- Patient Access
- Clinical Data Model
- Reporting Workbench
- Rules and Extensions
- Security like security points, model build
- Caboodle Data Model
- Clarity Data Model
- Text or Putty
- SSIS Packages
- Query/View/Table/Stored Procedure creation/use/modification
- SSIS Package creation/modification
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge:
- Epic Cogito Tools
- Custom RW SQL build
- Custom PAF/rule/extension build
- Radar
- Custom Radar SQL Metric/Query build
- Custom Radar Resource build
- SlicerDicer
- Custom Build of SlicerDicer - custom data models, custom filters
