Campos EPC is currently looking for Engineer Is located in San Ramon, CA or Sacramento.
*Hybrid working model.

Job Description: Looking for an Engineer I with 1-2 years work experience.
The Engineer I is responsible for working with the Project Teams managing gas pipeline and ILI upgrade projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. They will assist different teams of professionals in the execution of this work depending on the stage of the projects. The Engineer I works with the Senior Engineer, the Drafting Team, and the client to ensure that work is being done correctly and in accordance with the clients requirements. They may also answer questions and solve problems specific to design. As an entry level pracitioner they will rely on input from more senior Engineers while performing their duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
Develop specifications and drawings for assigned projects including design calculations.
Help develop project objectives, estimates and responsibilities by reviewing client requirements, project proposals and plans, and conferring with the Program Director, Project Manager and client representatives.
Assist in determining project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Work with Project Manager and other team members in developing a comprehensive workflow process, tasks, and project assignments.
Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and status reports. Plan and schedule changes; recommending actions to ensure project stays on-time and on-budget while meeting client specifications.
Ensure project compliance with appropriate government regulations, safety rules, and company and client policies.
Participate in meetings to discuss/resolve technical issues with internal staff and clients.
Assist the Program Manager and Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and manpower estimates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s Degree in engineering required.
1- 2 years of prior engineering work experience required.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, and 49 CFR 192) preferred.
Experience working both independently and, in a team, -oriented, collaborative environment.

SKILLS
Candidates and incumbents need to have the following skills;
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.
Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.
Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines.
