Growing Chicago based firm looking to add a talented Electrical Project Engineer to their team!



Responsibilities:
  • Projects include the study/design of roadway and site lighting, traffic signals for State/municipal clients and ITS improvements for public agencies
  • Design pump station electrical systems, generator sizing and site electrical improvements
  • Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates and preliminary studies
  • Supervise/mentor other staff on larger projects
  • Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
  • Review and check engineering work completed by staff
  • Build/maintain client relationships
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience
  • PE License or ability to obtain in two years
  • Proficient in MicroStation
  • Experience with IDOT/Illinois Tollway projects preferred
  • CDOT/INDOT experience preferred
