Job Description

Expanding Midwest firm is looking to fill a critical role for a Drainage Engineer in their Dallas Office!



Responsibilities:
  • Work on a variety of public and private sector projects
  • Lead drainage design on transportation projects
  • Collaborate with staff
  • Communicate with clients
  • Prepare technical reports, plans, designs, cost estimates and calculations
  • Use background experience on a variety of projects (transportation drainage design, detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater management and permitting)


Requirements:

  • in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience
  • PE License or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in drainage design software (HEC-RAS, HY-8 and SWMM)
  • Experience using MicroStation, GEOPAK/OpenRoads and Civil 3D
  • Site development experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT and other transportation agency design standards/procedures
