Genius Talent has partnered with a leading Med Tech company who is looking for aDirector of Business Developmentto join their growing team.The Director of BD will be primarily responsible for the sales of data management and biostatistics. FSP experience is a plus!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute sales activities to drive market adoption and awareness of companyservices
- Matchcompany capabilities and unique niche offerings to clients
- Secure and maintain professional relationships with clients, develop early visibility to new projects and business development opportunities, and liaise with technical and operational colleagues to deliver quality on-time services to our clients
- Stay abreast and react to industry news and trends
- Identify, qualify, and develop new sales leads (build the pipeline)
- Secure and manage professional relationships with clients
- Deliver sales and capabilities presentations, in person, by phone, by social media, by email
- Attend Trade Shows as required
- Provide input andto proposal development
- Negotiate and close new business, and grow existing client business
- Meet or exceed realistic sales targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior sales experience in the pharma/biotechspace is essential, ideally with a mid-sized or large CRO
- Significant experience cultivating relationships and growing sales pipeline
- Demonstrated experience in a remote based global sales organization and driving results
- Experience in closing large revenue deals with sales cycles from 3-18 months
