Digital Marketing Assistant

We are currently working with a leading National automotive business based in Gravesend. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

The Digital Marketing Assistant will create leads and reinforce the company brand through excellent digital campaigns. You will manage well-planned communications across all channels. Analyse and understand all metrics and tracking data and shape the digital strategy accordingly. Work with the Head of Creative to ensure that the best content is shared and that followers and digital presence increase.

Responsibilities will include:

* Social Media Content posting: Manage social channels content and updates, creating
fresh content and using materials from the Head of Creative. Build the digital strategy.
* Website management: Oversee the websites and ensure the banners and ads are refreshed frequently to reflect current campaign messages. Liaise with their SEO providers to ensure better positioning and prominence. Help design the banners they use.
* Social listening - Monitor the customers' journeys and inhabit the online spaces where
their target market is posting and are active members, to better understand their habits
and needs. Use this insight to direct them to the best experience.
* Competitor monitoring: Observe the competition and use the information to keep the company
ahead in quality and branding.
* Google analytics: Review the data and interpret it to better understand the impact of
campaigns and to shape future activity.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

* A specialism and passion for digital marketing, with proven success in this space.
* Familiarity with Joomla, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, and SAP business one would be a distinct
advantage. A competent user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
* Creativity and an aptitude for innovation and ideas generation.
* A great team worker who collaborates well with others.
* Strong analytical mind, able to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions to shape
future campaigns.
* Industrious, with a good work ethic, able to work well and deliver results with minimal
supervision.

Hours for the role are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week.
